Apple in discussions to buy-out the social network ; The Fancy

According BusinessInsider Apple is in talks with the founders of The Fancy site to buy  them.
This is a social network for high growth ecommerce created by former Facebook and Twitter that Apple would drop into her lap to complete its commercial offer associated with iTunes.
It must be said that so far all attempts to create social networks like Ping have failed and a buy-out would be a good method for not again embarking on a hazardous adventure.
If this acquisition is finalized it will join other buy-outs made by Apple, but different since it is related to the need of the company to acquire the technical know-how.
