A new version of the Tibet malware was discovered.
Kaspersky discovered the malware on June 27th. It infects computers through email with an attachment, 'matiriyal.zip'. Once the attachment is open, a JPEG image and an OSX application appear. The application connects to servers that take control of the infected computer, steal data, etc.
This type of virus is not new, it was first discovered in March 2012 when it was using Java security breaches.
