Hynix is the first RAM manufacturers to have launched its own SSD models earlier this week.
It seems that the company has strong expectation in this field as it just announced to have acquired Link-A-Media Devices, a company developing and producing controllers for SSD, some of its products have been recently adopted by Corsair. It comes as a proof that Hynix is taking all actions necessary to enter the SSD market to be able to quickly grab a substantial piece of the market share. Unlike most other SSD brands, Hynix is now able to develop and manufacture all components found in a SSD, becoming independent of third-parties.
