Couple of days after Google and its cloud-based online storage solution known as Google Drive, Amazon launched its own service under the name of Cloud Drive. An application for Mac OS X and Win allows you to easily upload and download your files from the cloud. The way it works is very similar to the Google Drive, which is based on the DropBox approach .

As with Google and Apple, the first 5 GB of storage are free, and extra space will be available for 1 USD/GB/year: so 20 GB for 20 USD/year, 50 GB for 50 USD/year, etc. For small storage space, Amazon is cheaper than Google, for 100 GB you will have a better deal with Google Drive. However, you should also read the term of uses, as Google is known for scanning personal data for statistics and analysis.
