After rumors and "stolen" photos, Microsoft officially announced the new logo associated with Windows 8.
The company even provided a tutorial to explain that the logo was not a flag, but in fact describing 4 stylized windows. Below is the historical path of those flags windows:
It almost looks like the logo of Windows 1... Did Microsoft decided to go back to the origin, or closed the loop? The blue color is similar to the Apple logo we know:
