The closer we get to the official release date of the first Ivy-Bridge CPU and the more details are becoming available. Hereafter are the 4 cores CPU (8 threads) dedicated for Desktop computers and that will become available during the first week of April:

- Core i7-3770S: 4 cores, 8 threads, 8 MB of cache, TDP of 65W, 3100 MHz with Turbo mode:3900 MHz,
- Core i7-3770T: 4 cores, 8 threads, 8 MB of cache, TDP of 45W, 2500 MHz with Turbo mode:3700 MHz,
- Core i5-3570K: 4 cores, 6 MB of cache, TDP of 77W, 3400 MHz with Turbo mode:3800 MHz,
- Core i5-3550: 4 cores, 6 MB of cache, TDP of 77W, 3300 MHz with Turbo mode:3700 MHz,
- Core i5-3550S: 4 cores, 6 MB of cache, TDP of 65W, 3000 MHz with Turbo mode:3700 MHz,
- Core i5-3570T: 4 cores, 6 MB of cache, TDP of 45W, 2300 MHz with Turbo mode:3300 MHz,

More than enough CPU to create a brand new serie of iMac, we might be:
- iMac 27" Core i5 at 3.4 GHz with option to Core i7 à 3.5 GHz,
- iMac 27" Core i5 at 3 GHz,
- iMac 21,5" core i5 at 3 GHz with option to Core i7 à 3,1 GHz,
- iMac Core i5 at 2,8 GHz.
It is very likely that such models will quickly be announced as soon as the Ivy-Bridge CPUs become available.
