The software Trim Enabler allows you to activate the Trim function on non-Apple SDD running Mac OS X.
In addition to enabling Trim, even on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, this software gives your the ability to check the SMART status and linked parameters of your drives. Not all SSD are supported as some manufacturers do not want to make such details available.
