Following our previous news about the problems face by several owners of Time Capsule 1 TB model released in 2009, we were surprised to receive many additional reports, all indicating failures within the last 2 weeks! Such synced failure might indicate the beginning of a unfortunate serie, but technically it is possible if a component common to all models is faulty, such unit being usually continuously active/on. We can only expect that it will only affect a small number of unit from the 2009 V2 series, otherwise it might be the second major problem recorded for this product over two generation: first, defective power chip on the power board, while for the second generation it does not seem to be the case.
