It seems clear that Intel is trying hard to compete with the ARM CPU success in tablets and smartphone. The founder is pushing the new Ultrabook models to compete with the tablets, and is now unveiling CPUs that will even be able to be installed in mobile phones. Intel wants a piece of both juicy markets.


According to Intel, the new Atom CPUs would be able to replace ARM CPU in such tablets and smartphone, and a prototype of mobile phone offering 8h 3G communication and 6 hours 1080p HD video playback was demoed.
