According to Digitimes who quote sources of manufacturers of Taiwanese PC, Intel will launch its Ivy-Bridge range on April 8, 2012. On this date 17 processors intended for the desktop machines and 8 intended for the portables will be available. This will be enough for Apple to renew its MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac.
The true question which will arise then relates to the design of these machines. Will they be similar to that which has been known for several years or will Apple take advantage of this range renewal to modify radically as some think, especially on the level of the portables that would be thinner than currently and with the iMac of which a model 32" would cap the range preceding the next so much talked about Apple television?
