According to Reuters, European courts have recorded 9 complaints against Google for abuse of their dominant position. The majority emanate from small firms who consider that Google puts obstacles in the way of their development, however Microsoft is also a complainer. The company, already very heavily condemned by the courts of the EU now calls upon them to fight against this competitor that is practically impossible to avoid.
All in all, the reproaches aim at the search engine of Google, its core activity and especially the way in which the results are displayed. Google is indeed shown to favour its own services in the results and to suppress its competitors.
The courts will want certainly to have access to the most secret thing of Google, its algorithms for managing its search engine, something that the giant will certainly not want readily to share with anyone.
