Seagate has just unveiled a battery-powered 2.5" external hard drive, which can connect to an existing Wi-Fi Network or created its own. It is called GoFlex Satellite and is targeting primarily iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users, but it will work with all mobile devices.
Through an application downloaded on the App Store, the user will be able to stream photos, videos and musics that were transferred on the disk using its USB 3.0 connection, or through Wi-Fi. It will feature a 5 hour battery life when streaming videos, 500 GB of storage and will be available in July for $200.
