According Engadget, Toshiba missed the entrance of its new tablet running Android on the market to compete with the iPad.

Launched 10 days ago and priced at $560, the tablet would be ready to leave the shelves of the British stores PC World. For now, it is outrageously priced at £999.99, which means that the device is not truly for sale anymore.
This early exit would be linked to the high number of dissatisfied customers returning their device, due to many bugs in the system and to the bad quality of the display.
In the end, not everybody can make an iPad killer, and Toshiba is learning it the hard way. This is equally bad for Nvidia since it is bad publicity for one of the few devices running on their Tegra 2 chip.
