Caldigit announced new external USB 3.0 Hard Drives. In order to provide real support for USB 3.0, they will also sell PCI-Express Card and ExpressCard, which will be fully compatible with Mac OSX. Both the ExpressCard and PCI-Express Card will be available at reasonable prices respectively of $69 and $59.Thanks to them, users will be allowed data transfer rates reaching up to 145 MB/s on their external Hard Drive.
Owners of Mac Pro and MacBook Pro featuring Express Card will be happy, but possessors of 13" and 15" MacBook Pro (after 2008) and iMac won't have that possibility.
