3PAR: Dell lets HP win

This is the end of the battle opposing HP and Dell for the purchase of 3PAR, a company specialized in the cloud system. Dell let the deal go after HP offered not less than $2.4 Billion, more than twice the original Dell offer.
So it is HP that got the deal. However, that battle will have consequences for both competitors, since Dell will have to review their growing strategy, and HP clearly overpaid 3PAR.
