After dropping Mac support 18 years ago, AutoDesk decided to bring back to Mac its key architecture application AutoCAD. This is for sure excellent news for Apple, and another proof that Mac OS X and hardware are more and more considered as a viable solution in business. The new version for Mac will be available at he same price than for PC (around 4,000 USD) and should arrive in October. This is the same company that acquired and keeps developing the famous 3D animation, modeling, visual effects, rendering, and compositing software, Maya.
