ARM and Microsoft Enter Licensing Agreement

The mobile market is pushing some companies to collaborate while it was looking impossible in the past. Microsoft and ARM entered licensing agreement. While the content remains undisclosed we can hypothesize that Microsoft will work closer to ARM to optimize its OS for this architecture that is today dominating the market of tablets, mobile devices and high-end mobile phones. It could also provide Microsoft tools to potentially launch its own mobile devices and phones, or at least models optimized for its OS/software.
