Current Apple production lines managed by Foxconn are localized in Shenzen, where a wave os suicide among employees created so much buzz and investigation from Apple and other authorities.
According to some sources, Foxconn is preparing to move some of production lines dedicated to Apple products to north and central China, as employees and worker in Shenzen have now high expectation for salary. This information comes few weeks after Foxconn announced a massive rise in salary. By moving to other place, Foxconn probably expects to pay future employees less while revising its policies, such as offering accommodation to its employees. Such move might also compromise the availability of Apple products, and the US company might think twice before agreeing on such move.
