As in most international corporates, even if the company trust its employees, Apple is conducting regularly audits. This is currently the case for Apple Europe where financial auditing is in progress. According to one of our sources (but we could not cross-check), Apple has launched an in-depth internal investigation, going way beyond similar procedures conducted previously. They are controlling all kind of information, records, as if they were aware of some information or details and would be looking for proofs.
We ignore what they are looking for, but everybody is targeted, and your position in Apple Europe hierarchy does not play a role. As usual, when the pressure will be released, we should get more information on the reason lying behind such operations. As usual, we will report information only when we will be sure that it will not put our sources in danger, as we always did it and are still doing it. According to our source, we are not part of the reason behind this investigation, as it could happen in the past when Apple was looking for the internal sources of information we could have published.
