Sony comes out fighting to compete with the iPad

Sony seems to have leaned from its past errors. After having seen the market of the walkmans escaping from them, they do not want to leave the field free for Apple with the iPad. The Wall Street Journal  announced a product which would like at the same time an ultra portable, a reader of digital books and a PSP. Sony thus aims very exactly the same markets as Apple with the compatibility with the PSP as an undeniable advantage.
Sony seems to want to make the maximum money from its PSP, by also manufacturing a smartphone that would be able to make run its games too.
