Gizmodo reports that Apple has finally admitted that some 27" iMacs were affected with a problem of a too yellow screen. The whole thing is summarized in two short sentences:
We regulated the problems which caused the flashes and the yellow colour. The customers of of affected iMacs should contact Apple Care.
This is somewhat short but precise. Even though you can always contact Apple Care by telephone, it does not help you with the maintenance center in order to exchange your screen. They do not yet have an official means of regulating the problem or the procedure. Without these official instructions, which should arrive quickly, they will not be able to do anything.
