You might have understood it from the title, this new is going to be a bit "acid" for several news networks. While we are hearing about the forthcoming Apple Tablet, aka iSlate, everyday for now almost one month, some news networks decided to launch a new story, about another Apple device: the iPhone. YeS, there will be a new iPhone! Amazing is not it? According to different sources, it should be announced/introduced/available in May-June. Here again, nothing special as Apple has chosen this time frame over the last 2 years for introducing new iPhone models...
According to the same sources, the integrated camera will be better, performance will be higher, etc... : do you really think that Apple would release the fourth generation of its iPhone with inferior specifications and performances? When the iPhone 3GS was launched we were reporting that this was a transition model as Apple had to change its plan at the last minute and remove the dual camera supposed to be installed for allowing 3G video calls.
We can already predict the following features without taking much risks:
- higher performance level
- better power management
- integrated flash device
- support for 3G+ and/or any faster mobile networks
- two cameras for allowing video calls
- better GPS
- etc.
Talking about Apple and its devices and products is for sure good for its business, but by trying to create buzz out of nothing really new, news networks might also flooded the real and interesting tidbits in an ocean of useless comments. Maybe Apple should revise a bit more its programmed leaks and the "informed sources". Customers might get saturated about the new Apple device if they hear about it 2 month before it is unveiled, while they will have to wait 2 additional month before being able to buy it.
