Yesterday has been a rather frustrating day. Instead of presenting in details its future Arrendale CPU, Intel just unveiled that they will be officially demoed during the Las Vegas CES on January 7th.
Even if most details are already known, some points remain unclear: performance level of the integrated graphic cores, their working frequencies (166, 500 or 700 MHz), true hardware capabilities (will it hardware decode HD video?). As Starcraft II will be available on Mac on the same date, we would quickly be able to judge how efficient are those integrated graphic cores vs. discrete GPU or the NVIDIA GF 9400M chipset.
