We have received several reports from users and other sources, indicating that Apple can not face the higher than expected demand for iMac powered by Core i5 (and i7) CPU. If one can understand the interest for such models from the first benchmarking and tests performed on such hardware (here and there), we are surprised how fast stocks for such models went down. Apple will have to work quickly to ensure that it would not prevent the company to sell iMac due to poor availability, pushing users back into PC manufacturer's arms...
