The cheap SSD of Intel: X25-V arrives via Kingston

by crispin . Original by Lionel - 27/10/2009 06:00:00 CET - Source: Kingston

We have spoken recently of a new range of entry line SSD offered by Intel. the X25-V will have a capacity of 40 GB that will have the data flow in reading of 170 MB/s compared to 40 MB/s in writing. These disks will appear under the label of Kingston, a partner of Intel that markets already the other X25.

The good news: these discs will be accessible since the price is $115, that is to say a little less than 80 Euros HT.
