- 3.5" models will offer storage space ranging from 500 GB to 2 TB.
- 2.5" models will offer storage space up to 640 GB for plater-based HD and up to 160 GB for SSD-based drive.
As the USB 3.0 could accommodate it, Dane-Elec will install Intel X25-M SSD of 80 or 160 GB, offering up to 250 MB/S in reading mode. So, we simply now have to expect that the future iMac and Mac mini, most likely Mac hardware models to be updated in a very near future, will already feature USB 3.0. It would be surprising as we would rather think that first USB 3.0 motherboard for consumer electronics would most likely be available for Q1 2010, so it could appear on the future MacBook Pro.
