Last week, Brian McKinney, in charge of the label Chocolate Lab Records claimed that Apple was asking 10,000 USD to Majors in order to add on iTunes LP contents, an option not offered to independent labels/indies.
A representative from iTunes announced today that there is no backside fee for adding contents on line. In addition, he mentioned that specification will soon be released to allow producers to add contents on their catalog.
At the end of big buzz and story that ended up shortly as initial claims turned out to be wrong.
