In order to feed the buzz around its future generation of GPU, AMD unveiled its technology EyeFinity allowing 6 displays to be supported and managed from a single graphic card.

As one can see it, the video port is a ... mini DisplayPort, developed by Apple and now under review for becoming a standard format. This card would control 6 display with a 1920x1200 definition in other words 3x 30" display... impressive.
If the mini-DisplayPort is quickly adopted as a standard, other manufacturers could also quickly offer alternative to the nice and expensive Apple 24" LED display.
