You all probably remember the problems that thousands of owners met with the first generation of the Airport Express. Between the thirteenth and twenty-fouth month, a very large quantity of these airpots gave up the ghost. The fault was in the power block that prematurely died.
Although we do not wish this to start again, many people have stated on the Apple forums (here and here) to have encountered a similar problem with their Time Capsule.
It seems here that the breakdowns occur after 17 to 18 months of operation.
If you encountered such a problem, feel free to state this on the forums. Of course, if this proves to be the start of a new epidemic, we will investigate to find a way of repairing the power block since Apple is more than likely to turn a deaf ear.
