Hereafter is a report about forth coming Snow Leopard:
We have been testing the last version of Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6 10A421a).
After couple of tests in Safari we have been checking compatibility with different internet standards as well as known backdoors and exploit with the following site: http://bcheck.scanit.be/bcheck
Surprisingly, Safari reported as tock solid crashed during the test. It did not support a backdoor related to QuickTime 7.1.6 that was fixed in 7.2. So it seems that Safari crashes in this test when using QuickTime X. For additional information about this exploit: http://bcheck.scanit.be/bcheck/testdetails.php?id=16
It would not be the first time that an old/fixed backdoor or exploit is revived in new version of software during development procedures. Apple will of course have time to fix this issue, and for sure they are using http://bcheck.scanit.be/bcheck and other tools to evaluate and challenge its browser.
