A New Legal Actions Involving Apple

The company Tsera LLC launched a legal action against Apple, Microsoft, LG, Philips, B&O, etc. In summary all companies designing/manufacturing devices based on a display being used as a touch sensitive surface, a technology covered by the patent 6,639,584. Entitled "Methods and apparatus for controlling a portable electronic device using a touchpad", it has been filed on July 6th 1999. While taking Palm devices as an example, claims might cover some of technologies used by Apple with the iPhone.
As usual with such story, it will only be a matter of time and money...
