Seagate has released its new range of Cheetah high performance hard disks.
Available at 300,450 and 600 GB, Cheetah 15K7 have the 3,5" format and spin at 15000 rpm. They are available out of Fibre Chanel 4 Gbits/s or in SAS 2 to 6 GBits/s. These discs are intended for servers or, why not, for Mac Pro of those who have made the (debatable) choice to take the RAID card. To find out more:
