AS almost every weeks, new SSDs are unveiled or launched. It is now new models, M225 series, from Crucial to be announced for an official availability on July 20th :
If the PR does not provide any information related to the controller nor its cache memory, performance levels are similar to those expected from high-end models:
- 64 GB model: reading: 200 MB/s and writing: 150 MB/s
- 128 GB model: reading: 250 MB/s and writing: 190 MB/s
- 256 GB model: reading: 250 MB/s and writing: 200 Mo/s
So, within the next two weeks we should learn more, and especially their price.
