To achieve such result, they used the same technology previously (incompletely) implemented by OCZ in one of its SSD models: build an internal RAID volume between 2 SSDs each one featuring its own controller and its associated cache memory. They chose the now famous Indilix Barefoot and its 128 MB of cache.
Two versions will be available, defined by their storage space: 128 GB for 518 Euro and 256 GB for 816 Euro. One should not forget that having an internal RAID volume will dramatically increase the power consumption of the SSD drive, and then decrease the battery life. Last but not least, those models are most likely saturating the SATA II interface, and might offer even higher transfer speed if one could test them with a SATA III interface not implemented in notebook yet.
