Auto plus has tested the software Mobile navigator for the iPhone and compared it to a GPS Navigon 7210 and a Tomtom. The software on the Apple telephone competes well against these autonomous version and yields nothing.

Of course remains to be seen if an iPhone can replace all the possible devices. It would be a handy solution, but not inevitably in all circumstances. It should, for example, be remembered that the guidance software will halt if you receive a call. i.e. not so practical after all…
