Toshiba to Enter the Blu-ray Market

After dropping its HD-DVD in 2008, Toshiba decided to leave this market, not considering initially to join the Blu-ray winner side, and tried to boost existing DVD or online video shops. But things change as Toshiba announced to have initiated the production of standalone Blu-ray player for the Japanese market. Most analysts agree that the BD market will rocket up in 2010 with the return of economic growth.
