After having released the first 3.5" HD offering 2 TB sotorage space at 5400 rpm, Wetern Digital is on track to release the "Black" version of this drive, aka the "high-performance" version.
First samples should arrive during the summer and will offer 7200 rpm spinning speed associated with 64 MB of cache. The price remains currently unknown but will most likely be "premium" as WD does not face any competitors on this particular market.
