iPhone 3G S: Customers Still Queuing
While being in USA, I decided to visit the local Apple Store on Saturday, expecting to have more time to chat with Apple Genius and specialists, while enjoying the iPhone 3G S. Well, I was wrong, deeply wrong:

In other words, all demo iPhone 3G S units were being heavily tested by the crowd. I stayed about 1 hour, and the length of the queue did not really shortened. So at the end an Apple manager was taking order directly to customers with a MacBook:

I was expecting to get some time with an apple Genius to report a bug in iPhoto, but it was so packed, that you had to get an appointment... it is great to see Apple products getting popular, but it has some drawbacks:

We received some information regarding sales of iPhone 3G S and MacBook Pro:
- The iPhone 3G S is selling at a higher pace than the iPhone 3G; T-Mobile reports to have sold 18,000 units on the launch day (source in german) to be compared to 15,000 units last July for the launch of the iPhone 3G model.
- The new MacBook Pro models are selling well, especially the 13" models.
