Supertalent announced new series of SSDs, known as MasterDrive SX.
Those drives are based on 8 channels and features 128 MB cache memory for the controller (most likely from Samsung or Indilix). Regarding performance levels, the 64 GB model offers 220 MB/s and 110 MB/s in reading and writing mode respectively. Units featuring larger storage space (128 and 256 GB) will offer almost doubled writing speed (200 MB/s).
Supertalent claims that those drives are particularly "green", draining only 0.15 W when idle and 0.5W in working mode. Prices are not available yet.
