The last two years have been particularly tough for Microsoft:
- The limited success of Vista
- Absence of success of Zune and its ecosystem
- Fiasco of MSN Search compared to Google as well as the purchase of Yahoo!
It seems that Microsoft does not want to turn the page and this is not a big surprise. The public Beta of Windows 7 is already a reassuring success for the manufacturer, even if some in the market demand how things will evolve concerning the marketing especially with the prices that risk to be high. But this is not all, Microsoft again will upstage Apple with the Zune HD, and also Google with its new search engine, bing.com. Here a video of a demonstration.
It remains to be seen if Microsoft can manage this time to make more than a brief appearance in the search engines and the mp3 players.
