sparkle, a graphic card manufacturer for PC, will launch a NVidia GeForce GTX 285 that could give us some ideas about the future Mac Edition model.
They updated the cooling system with a Accelero Xtreme GTX 280 from Artic Cooling. they then overclocked the card to 666/1512/2520MHz from 648/1476/2484MHz, while maintaining it silent.
We suspect that one can overclock even further this card with such oversized cooling system. The true release date of the GeForce 285 GTX Mac Edition remains unknown, and despite several request from different sources, we could only confirmed that what we previously announced: the card will be released soon, most likely in June.
