Fujitsu announced to be the manufacturer/designer of the fastest CPU in the world.

The SPARC64 VIIIfx, also known as Venus, delivers 128 GFlops. It is designed to be associated in hundreds or thousands units in super-duper-computers or calculators to be used in the company, or for weather prediction, nuclear simulator or earthquake detection system prototype.
