If you own a Mac Pro equipped with a GeForce 8800GT, and are wondering what will be the performance gain if you replace it with a Radeon HD 4890, hereafter is part of the answer illustrated by the results of a test performed with GLView.
Tests have been performed with high resolution 2560x1600 and have shown that the HD 4890 is about 2.5x faster than the GeForce card. We like this test has it is reliable and results are stable over independent sessions.
