The LexCycle company that offers the software for reading eBooks on iPhone and iPod Touch annouced that they have been purchased by Amazon. This confirms Amazon's intention to become a giant in the electronic distribution of books and does not let Apple hope to take the initiative by proposing this type of solution via iTunes.
Already Amazon made a strong impression with its Kindle that has been a very big hit.
