Windows 7 Will Allow Windows XP Virtualization

Transition between operating system is usually a difficult time. In the past Apple offered solution to launch Mac OS 9 inside Mac OS X, and later on to run PPC code code on Mac Intel. In order to allow its customers to slowly move from XP to Windows 7, Microsoft will offer a virtualization solution to run XP in Win 7 Pro version. This is not something new for Microsoft as it allowed the company to offer Virtual PC for years on our Mac.
With such strategy, Microsoft expects to convince most Win XP users to migrate without any risk to the new Windows version when it will be available. The company is taking all possible measures to prevent a new disappointing launch or to repeat the unsuccessful Vista.
