One can now purchase (19.99 USD) or rent (30 days, 4.99 USD) HD movies on the US iTunes Store. Those movies can be watched on Mac, PC or TV via the Apple TV. However, there is not information for using the video output from MacBooks to get the movie on a TV. One can easily guess than only the Unibody MacBook and MacBook Pro featuring a mini DisplayPort can successfully transfer HD movie signal to external display (monitor or TV) as they feature a HDCP chip.
