While relationship between NVidia and Intel have never been so bad, the chameleon company announced to have signed with Via and will make available 9400M chipset-based solution for the Korean CPU designer.
This is typically the type of agreement that NVidia intends to develop further in order to demonstrate that their chipsets and GPU are now the main part of electronic devices, and the CPU is only one of the components. Via CPUs are known to be entry-level models, not so powerful but with good power consumption figures. In addition, such partnership will allow Via to associate its CPU to the currently successful NVidia 9400M-based solutions, allowing the Korean to be back on the scene and to better deal with the strongest competitor for its CPU offers, Intel ATOM
