The penetration of the SSD smaller than forseen

DRAMeXchange who permanently analyzes the market of the memory, reduced its estimates of growth of the demand for flash memory.
In addition to the economic crisis, which will weigh on the sales of devices equipped with flash memory (mp3 players, cameras…), they also re-examined their estimates of the SSD disks that will be less than expected.
It should be said that this incipient market still has trouble starting up, on one side there are accessible products but with dubious performance and on the other the very powerful disks but with prohibitory prices.
However, the crisis should help to bring this market to the general public, many manufacturers of flash memory live in hope that the sales of these disks finally explodes and will allow them to run their mass production of their chips to the full.
