iPhone: False Copies Surface in Russia

If several companies are trying to surf on the iPhone mania wave to sell mobile phones looking like the real iPhone, meaning copied or counterfeited models, the Russian website http://englishrussia.com reports that new copies are now circulating. Counterfeiters went one step further and offer the following device:

If it really looks like an iPhone, it only contains a small printed-circuit and a LCD screen to display the Apple logo when turned on or pressing on a button. In Russia, such models are offered on the street for a competitive price, arguing that only the Apple is displayed as it is an SIM unlocked iPhone. For sure such models will end up on some online bedding websites, so be careful and do not forget that a good deal might turn to be a disaster at the end.
