As we do from time to time, we have taken a look at Macbidouille/Hardmac's visitor statistics.
- The iPhone continues its fine breakthrough, making up nearly 4% of traffic at around 60,000 visits in August. It will be interesting to see if this peark is due to the nomadic summer season or if it will remain stable in September. We will keep you informed.
- The other phenomenon, which does not seem to be slowing, is the continual fall in PowerPC based Macs, which are now near 25%. We congratulate the few readers who continue to visit us from a Mac 68xxx :)
- Looking at screen resolutions shows us that the most popular machine is the 15" MacBook Pro, followed closely by the 20" iMac, then the MacBook, confirming the enormous sucess of Apple's portables.
We will publish other figures at a future time.

LG, more known for its television sets than its computer equipment has made a big success by proposing two generations of Blu-ray burners at an excellent price point and equipped with performances higher than the competition.
In order to keep its lead, the company has just announced a new model now reaching the 8X speed on this type of media.
It should be noted that this speed of burning does not yet exist officially, just like it did not exist with the 6X when they proposed it. However, our tests had shown that it did this task with brilliance.
The release date and the price of this burner are not yet known.

If you look for a market where it is difficult to stand out, you have found it with the IT market. In this regard the users of the Mac have no problem since Apple has a very strong reputation for design.
But in the PC world, things are much more difficult. In order to propose something that others do not have, Asus has just announced a range of coated portable PC that have a perfume that will be released during the operation of the machines. The perfumes go from floral blossom, musky black, morning dew to aqua ocean.
Notice, Apple did us well with the Mac Pro that has the odors of hemp - definitely less pleasant:)
